The Blevins Family Adventure

Hello friends and family! Welcome to the Blevins Family Adventure!
As many of you probably know, this is our long and expansive road-trip across the Unites States! We'll be going down South as deep as we can go, up the East Coast as far as Boston, and across through Quebec, other parts of Canada, the mid-West, then home. We have personal email, but it'd be too tedious to keep updating everyone, so you can check out our website, view our pictures, see where we're headed, and keep track of our Excellent Adventure! Thanks a bunch!

What a great idea! Our family is really looking forward to having you in our home for a visit! It is supposed to be in the high 90's, with high humidity, so come prepared! We have plans for lots of good 'ole Southern cooking and fun times! Travel safe and we'll see you next Thursday!

Jane - keep reading - a William Faulkner novel is akin to viewing a large unsolved puzzle laid-out on the floor - but, when it comes together (sometime by re-reading chapters) - it's a great experience. When you master Faulkner - I am moving you to Eudora Welty, Flannery O'Conner, James Agee, Reynolds Price, Thomas Wolfe, etc. etc. It's going to be an interesting Summer Read.

Wyatt, do your slaghtering in Arkansas - the turtles in the pond behind our house are off-limits! They and the frogs are the food supply for Aunt Suzie's two huge Blue Herons.

B-B-Q is waiting - Russ and Suzie

Janey girl,
I was furious that I missed your call! The odds of you catching me with my phone on are slim because I'm working full time. But don't worry I'll "blog" you!
I miss you so much and I hope your having a blast! Arkansas huh? Well I understand the heat and humidity if it's anything like Kansas-gross.
I'm doing well. Staying busy with work, and apartment shopping. I'm also hanging out with that guy from Boston... a lot.
I love you and miss you Janey!
Love,
Your girlfriend Allie
P.S. Blevins family, I hope you're ALL doing well and having fun! XOXO

I come lonely broken and in need of news but only hear that Allie is seeing a lot of the guy from Boston?? I'm expecting to hear about the funniest thing that happened today... or you can't believe the sign or bumper sticker we saw...or we danced in the aisles at Holy Ghost Baptist on the bayou on Pastor Pete had us over for Alli-gator eye stew. Promise low but deliver high.

Hey Guys! I hope the trip is going well so far. Sounds like a lot of fun! Jane, this blog was a great idea to have so that we can all track your adventure. Wyatt, have you found the squirrel fishing to be as hot in other states as it is in Montana? Have a safe trip! Lee

The hairy man from Menasha sends his apologies. I guess that BIG click here thing was a bit too conspicuous for me. I am now up to date but I do think a feature should be added to the daily postings. I am wondering if Papa Blevins could crawl on one of those touristy scales (I'd be happy to provide the quarters) and give us a daily update on his weight. I'm heading to the kitchen right now to see if I can find anything close to the delicious fare you've all been sampling!! It could be a television show this fall on the FOod Network. Keep enloying your trip.
P.S. Had a great time at the cabin. Andy slew the bass right off the dock as usual. Paul

You know, Mr. Resch, everyone can read these coments...just so you know.

Thanks, The Management

Jane,
I must apologize for anything improper that I have put before the world to see. I would say that some grace, or should I say an abundance of grace should be offered me since I'm am an absolutely unexperienced blogger. This in fact will probably be my first and last blogging experience unless your adventure merely takes a pause this summer and resumes at a later date on some distant shores. Perhaps a brief primer on blogging etiquette could enhance your sight. Blessings to you all.
Sincerely, "The Bumbler" Mr. Resch

That's OK, Paul. Just don't let it happen again.
